At the Southampton Lodge, we are guided by a set of timeless principles that define who we are and what we stand for. Our mission is rooted in fostering brotherhood, serving humanity, preserving masonic tradition, and pursuing personal growth and self-improvement.

We believe in the power of meaningful relationships and we create a supportive community where members can share their experiences, support one another, and grow together.
Our lodge serves as a home away from home, where every member is welcomed with open arms and embraced as part of our Masonic family. The Southampton Lodge welcomes people from all ages, with members ranging from their 20’s up to their 90’s. We also embrace people from all walks of life, and currently have members from those working (or retired) in music, dance, trade professions, automotive, medical, IT and computing and everything in-between.

Serving humanity
Service to others is at the heart of the Southampton Lodge.
We strive to alleviate suffering, promote equality, and improve the lives of those in need. Examples of our charitable initiatives at the Southampton Lodge include providing Christmas presents to children, supporting local dementia charities, children’s charities and national benevolent organisations.
Members also provide support in the community, with time and effort donated to local Rotary Clubs, Remembrance parades, Pride events and even community support as far afield as The Gambia.

Freemasonry is steeped in history, symbolism, and tradition, and at the Southampton Lodge we honour this heritage while embracing the demands of the modern world.
We value the rituals and teachings that have been passed down through generations, however we also understand the importance of evolving with the times. By incorporating new thinking and adapting contemporary practices, we ensure that Freemasonry remains relevant and accessible in today’s fast-paced society
